Brilliant Pala e-learning is the official learning app from Brilliant Study Centre Pala in Kerala. It is made mainly for students preparing for entrance exams such as NEET and JEE. The Google Play listing shows 100K+ downloads and a 4.9-star rating from about 7,870 reviews.
The app puts study videos, notes, tests, question papers, and doubt support on a phone. This can help students study outside a classroom and revise lessons at their own time.
The official Brilliant Pala website also lists NEET, JEE, and KEAM preparation as key uses. Its learning system includes lecture videos, notes, mock tests, previous-year questions, doubt clearance, discussion tools, and performance analysis.
Should You Install It?

- Learners who want video lessons, tests, notes, and practice questions in one app.
Who Should Avoid It
- People who are not preparing for the courses covered by Brilliant Pala.
- Users who want a general learning app for many unrelated school subjects.
Main Features Breakdown
- Video Lectures: Students can watch recorded lessons for their exam preparation. The app is built around video-based learning, so it can be used for revision at home or away from class.
- Study Notes: Lecture notes are available with the learning content. They give students written material to read after watching a lesson.
- Mock Tests: The app provides tests and practice questions for exam preparation. The official site also lists previous-year question papers and chapter-based tests.
- Doubt Support: Students can use doubt-clearance tools when they need help with a question. The official app information also lists a discussion forum for student interaction.

Live Device Testing
I tested the app on a Redmi Android phone during normal study use. I opened the main screens, moved between learning sections, and checked video and test-related areas.
The basic screens were easy to understand. Since the app contains video lessons and study material, loading time can depend on the phone and internet connection.
The Google Play listing shows that the app was updated on August 21, 2026. The listing also contains user feedback about features such as recorded classes, live doubt sessions, assignments, and exams.
Some older user reviews mention issues with resuming videos and moving to the next lesson. These comments are useful to keep in mind, but app behavior can change after updates.
I would not give an exact battery-loss or temperature number because these results change with the Redmi model, screen brightness, network, video quality, and length of use.
Storage, Data, and Security
The public Google Play page does not show a fixed Android download size in MB. The space used after installation can also increase as app data and temporary files are created.
The app is mainly an online learning platform, so video lessons and other learning content can require an internet connection. The official Brilliant Pala site says the app provides lecture videos, notes, tests, question papers, and other learning tools.
Google Play currently says the developer may share personal information, photos and videos, and two other data types with third parties. It also states that data is encrypted during transfer and that users can request deletion of their data.
This is worth checking before creating an account or entering personal details. Google also explains that Play Store Data Safety information is supplied by developers and can vary based on how an app is used.
Comparison with Competitors
Brilliant Pala is more focused on entrance exam preparation than general learning apps. Its main content is aimed at exams such as NEET and JEE, while apps such as Khan Academy cover a much wider range of school and academic topics. It also differs from the separate Brilliant learning app, which focuses on interactive math, science, and coding lessons rather than Brilliant Pala’s entrance-coaching content.
